Kedash Beat Out Major Label Artists To No. 1 Position On World Charts

Kedash demonstrates the power of the internet in promoting music on a global scale. Kedash and Kinsu also releases original song - America. This song is a tribute to the true American heroes, the Police and Fire Men and Women who lost their lives helping others in the September 11 attack on the WTC.

Fort Lauderdale, FL -- October 7, 2001 -- After steadily moving up the top 10 chart kedash has successfully landed at Number 1 on the World Rhythm & Blues charts at MP3.com with the ever popular, sexy & smooth song 'J-1 Baby.

Despite the increasing presence of major label acts on the R&B charts, Kedash has managed to take the lead from the gold and platinum artists Silk, Carl Thomas and Dante Thomas. 'J-1 Baby the sexually endearing love song that is reminiscent of The Staple Singers 'Lets Do it Again and Margin Gays 'Lets Get it On has constantly remained on the top 40 R&B chart since the release of Kedashs Debut CD 'Real Life Situations. Kedash has also dominated the charts in Europe with three of her songs from the Real Life Situations CD going to the number one spot on the UKSounds.com website.

Having been touched by the tragic events at the World Trade Center on September 11 as indeed the whole world has been, Kedash has collaborated with Kinsu on a beautiful tribute song called 'America. The song America pays tribute to the true American heroes, the Police and Fire Men and Women who lost their lives saving others on that terrible day. This original composition is a touching song that asks Gods blessings on America. Kedash and Kinsu teamed up last year for a song praising the world series between the New York Mets and New York Yankees called Tha World Series Subway Hop. This song was a remake of the song kedash and Kinsu had initially done back in 1997 called Tha Hop that went to #21 on the Billboard charts. Proceeds from the sale, plays, downloads of the song America will be given to The American Red Cross because MP3.com will match any contributions made by artists through the service to that charity dollar-for-dollar thru October 31. The song America moved from position 158 to position 15 in just four days on the charts. Hundreds of Fire-fighters from around the US are falling in love with the song daily.

When asked how it was possible to keep up this intense chart battle, especially against major label artists, Kedash replied, "I write from the heart. My lyrics are taken directly from the pages of the Book of Kedashs daily life. If you put your heart into a song some-how the fans can feel it, relate to it and they will listen to and fall in love with your music."

Kedashs Label Sky Hi Records and Films, Inc. is actively cross promoting her through various means and is presently negotiating to have her co-host the Hip-Hop Drive Urban Music Television Show when it launches to television in November of this year. She is studying acting and working with choreographers to fine tune her stage performances to become a world class artist who will endure for the long term. This rising star is certainly headed in the right direction in the music and entertainment industry.
