AUSTRALIA - Software that allows internet users to logon to their accounts using a single master password is now available.

Known as single sign-on, this type of software promises to make life easier for users who need to remember multiple passwords for their online accounts.

The product called AccountLogon, which was developed by Australian company Rhodes Software, runs completely on the users PC without requiring the services of a third party authentication service.

"Our software allows users to keep their personal information to themselves and still be able to logon to their web accounts with a single click. It works with almost all existing websites and requires no technical knowledge to setup" a company spokesman said.
