Top New York Internet Solutions Company - KUMA Digital Launches Washington D.C. Office

Dominating online innovation and design in New York for the past four years, the decision to open a satellite office in the heart of the nation’s capital was actually quite easy to make as it became increasingly apparent that a lot of great opportunities existed in Washington D.C and many of KUMA’s clients – including National Geographic – were already based there.

New York, NY, (PRWEB) October 7, 2005 -- KUMA Digital, a leading Internet solutions company, announced today the opening of a second East Coast office in Washington D.C.

“As more and more D.C. businesses and organizations look to KUMA for design and development of their interactive media, we thought the time was right to bring on-the-ground support to the area,” said CEO and KUMA Digital Co-founder – Marni Sandler, who will oversee the Washington, D.C. office. “This new office enhances the services we already provide our clients by giving us a physical presence in the Mid-Atlantic region.”

The new office will be based at:

About KUMA Digital:

KUMA Digital (www.kumadigital.com) was founded in 2001 on the principal that "a small team with creative vision and dedication can create better, more inspired results than a large company bogged down by corporate bureaucracy and roles … that no matter the size of the agency, it all comes down to quality of the people and the work they produce.”

Whether it is building a corporate intranet, designing a logo, developing a promotional website, or creating an engaging game for kids, from concept to production KUMA Digital remains client-focused.

KUMA Digital Leadership Team:

Marni Sandler, Co-Founder/Chief Executive Officer

Prior to founding KUMA, Marni honed her craft at e-Business and Digital Arts leaders such as Reset, Xceed, i-traffic, SF Interactive and Rhizome. With expertise in all aspects of interactive media, web applications, project management, and brand building, she has worked with a variety of high-profile clients ranging from Kenneth Cole to Goldman Sachs to National Geographic.

Marni received her undergraduate degree in film from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and her Master's Degree with a focus on 'Cognitive Development and Visual Design' at the New School University's Media Studies department. Her academic studies and extensive travels abroad help her to approach work from a conceptual and diverse perspective.

Outside of KUMA Digital, Marni has transferred her passion of teaching and interactive media to the field of distance learning and online education. She has developed and instructs various online courses in Web Project Management, Business and Design in an effort to make learning online engaging and interactive.

Koo Glogauer, Co-Founder/Chief Operating Officer

During his career, Koo has consulted with a wide range of clients, including the NFL, Godiva, Stoli Vodka, The New York Times, The McGraw-Hill Companies, Sony, Time Warner Books, Goldman and National Geographic.

After earning a BA in Japanese Studies/International Business at Binghamton and two years as a market research analyst at Towers Perrin, one of the largest consulting firms in the world, he later enrolled in Parsons School of Design in New York City and earned a degree in graphic design with a concentration in digital design.

Upon graduation, Koo joined Margeotes, Fertitta + Partners, where he became an assistant art director and then ultimately a founding employee of the advertising agency’s new Internet division. This latest career move ignited a passion for interactive media, and prompted Koo’s career move to Reset Inc., where he worked on cutting edge projects such as the official Matrix movie website.

Koo met Marni at Reset and both moved on to Xceed when the company was acquired in 1999. In 2001, they joined forces to start-up KUMA.
