Survey criteria is based upon the ABA’s recent Black Letter Guidelines for the Evaluation of Judicial Performance. LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (PRWEB) October 10, 2005 -- Government Forums, Inc. has added interactive surveys to CourthouseForum.com, which allow visitors to anonymously evaluate the performance and qualifications of over 23,500 judges and judicial nominees. Survey criteria is based, in part, upon the American Bar Association's Black Letter Guidelines for the Evaluation of Judicial Performance (February 2005). The surveys contain interactive criteria allowing visitors to rate a judge or nominee based upon their legal ability, integrity, impartiality, communication skills, professionalism, temperament, administrative capacity, and other criteria. Each survey has a section that allows narrative comments about the judge. After submitting a survey, the overall results are updated and displayed instantly. To assist visitors, many of the surveys have a link to the judge’s official court website or biographical information.
CourthouseForum.com has a website structure based upon the nation's court systems. Each judge or nominee can be easily located in the website by using the new “Find a Judge or Nominee” feature. In addition to evaluation surveys, the site has discussion forums for virtually all of the federal judges, the appellate judges of all 50 states, and the trial judges of 31 states and the District of Columbia. CourthouseForum.com will be completing the trial judges for the remaining states and territories in the coming months.
CourthouseForum.com is the Internet's only website dedicated to providing a way to evaluate, monitor and discuss all of the nation's courts and judges.
