Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 10, 2005 -- In celebration of the 2005 10th anniversary of the Million Man March: Millions More Movement (MMM), Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan, endorses inspirational song “One In A Million.” The song, released by Chicago based label Warm Lane Music, aligns with the theme of this year's October commemoration focusing on unity, economic empowerment, education and the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Since the song was completed, local MMM organizational committees nation wide have used it to help promote and build momentum for the October 14th weekend events.

"One In A Million," is the creation of Christian composer/producer Alan Curtis Green, who felt inspired to write the song because of his nearly decade long regret for not attending the 1995 historic march and an answering to Min. Farrakhan’s call of inclusiveness among faiths, races and genders in observance of this year’s anniversary.

In the vein of humanitarian anthems like "We Are The World," "One In A Million" speaks to the human spirit of inclusion and wanting to be heard. Green says, from the time the idea of the song came to him, it's been his vision, that the song help people to see this march as more than just a march but a movement.

“One In A Million” the single has become the foundation of the commemorative CD project of the same name. Each compact disc will feature the song, a MMM wristband, an unscripted conversation between 12 African Americans of very different walks of life (corporate workers, entrepreneurs, preachers and pimps) exchanging views on politics, male female relationships, the church and black leadership. There is also the chance to win a free trip for two to Hawaii. All available at www.millionsong.com.

In the vein of humanitarian anthems like "We Are The World," "One In A Million” speaks to the human spirit at a time when the destruction of Hurricane Katrina has the nation asking questions about race, poverty and the inclusion of all Americans.

To aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina, Green has also composed a second version of "One In A Million,” titled "One In A Million: After The Storm.”
