With the release of the latest version of Lotus Notes and Domino, IBM has provided new features to enhance performance and scalability within the enterprise market. In support of the new version of Notes and Domino, BrightCom will demonstrate their GlobalConnect Instant Messaging Integrator. GlobalConnect allows companies to connect different instant messaging systems together to form a single instant messaging infrastructure. With GolbalConnect, employees can communicate with each other regardless of whether they use Lotus Sametime or Microsoft Live Communications Server. Now with ND7 and GlobalConnect, Notes users can instant message Sametime users in different communities as well as users on Microsoft Live Communications Server. GlobalConnect also provides awareness from one system to the other.
