Newly Launched Cell Journalist Site Signs Up Members From All Over the World

A new Web site allows ordinary citizens to become Cell Journalists and to be compensated for their original images.

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) October 18, 2005 -- Two weeks after launching, the Cell Journalist Web site (www.CellJournalist.com) has already signed up members from over a dozen different countries.

"Cell Journalist's membership base is growing rapidly and we are happy to continue welcoming new Cell Journalists from all over the world," says Parker Polidor, president of Cell Journalist.

Cell Journalist allows members to send in images of news events from all over the world. “We are looking for all newsworthy images from natural disasters to celebrity sightings and everything in between,” Polidor says.

Members can easily submit images by e-mailing pictures and videos directly from camera phones or WIFI enabled digital cameras. Cell Journalists who submit images and videos get paid $50 each time the image is used. "A really great video or photograph can be used several dozen times," Polidor says.

Cell Journalist markets these captivating, original images to all types of media outlets via a unique media subscription service. There are more than 200,000 media outlets across the world that together spend more than a billion dollars per year acquiring news related images. Cell Journalist's service now allows ordinary citizens to become Cell Journalists and to be compensated for their images.

Unlike other citizen journalism sites, Cell Journalist is free to join and members can submit an unlimited number of images for free. Becoming a member is easy; anyone interested can sign up at www.celljournalist.com/cell.
