Women Entrepreneurs Building Business One Pixel at a Time MoneyPants raises capital by helping other businesses reach new audiences. Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 17, 2005 -- MoneyPants.com, the online personal finance community for women, today announced the launch of its Million Dollar Dream Page (www.moneypantsdreampage.com). An interactive Internet billboard, the Dream Page offers a creative and cost-effective way for entrepreneurs to raise their visibility with online audiences.
“We understand the challenge of getting an advertising message out on a budget,” says MoneyPants CEO, Komal Bhojwani. “And we recognized an opportunity for all kinds of businesses to band together to harness the viral power of the Internet.”
The Million Dollar Dream Page consists of one million pixels, sold in 100-pixel squares for $1 per pixel, or $100 a square. Businesses use their squares to display a logo, image or message with a hyperlink back to their website. “Clicking on the squares is like strolling through an open-air market,” Bhojwani continues. “You never know what wonderful surprise you might stumble across.”
The MoneyPants home page features a prominent link to the Million Dollar Dream Page, which will also be promoted to MoneyPants newsletter subscribers. For as little as $100, people who couldn’t otherwise afford Internet advertising can drive traffic to their site and increase brand exposure. MoneyPants guarantees that the Dream Page will be up for at least two years after it reaches the $1 million mark. So a $100 investment averages out to less than 14 cents a day. “It’s great value for the money,” says Bhojwani.
In accord with the company’s founding principles, MoneyPants will donate $10,000 of every $100,000 collected to charity. The first $10,000 is pledged to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
