This is a talent show for plucky Small Form Factor systems - will yours be good enough to be a fierce factor system?

So how do you enter? Every week the three fierce factor judges select a group of entries to the qualifying rounds who are then voted by the public to the next round. The judges make horrible comments about them. The final small form factor system standing gets some of the coolest SavRow kit this side of Mars.

Powered by Dual Core - AMD 64-bit processors, SLI-linked NVIDIA graphics cards, with up to 1TB of storage, several gigs of RAM and gaming performance that doesn't blink at the most power hungry games.

You'd think the SFF Platinum is a powering tower of PC might? But no. Barely bigger than a loaf of bread, the SFF (Fierce to its mates) is large in performance and very small in stature... In fact it is about a quarter of the size of an equivalent system.... Now some suspect that it has given our Small Fierce Factor System a bit of a chip on the shoulder. We like to think it is an over-achiever.

"Now I have never heard of a PC with a Napoleon complex, but the SFF Platinum definitely has a colourful character. At first we thought it was funny how it would beat desktops much bigger than it in framerates and benchmarks, but now we are a little worried that the little guy is pushing himself too hard. Either way the winner of Fierce Factor 2005 will love this little beast."

Rumours that the Small Fierce Factor system is using steroids were completely rejected.
