The Latina personality is known for her nationally syndicated Arizona Republic craft column, her web site, http://www.CraftyChica.com, her five published books, speaking engagements, workshops and blog.
Kathy's web site, http://www.CraftyChica.com recieves more than 900,000 hits a month and aside from the craft projects she designs and shares on the site, her online diary is the second most popular feature.
"I loved the idea of recording a podcast because I look at it as an extension of my web site and online diary (blog)," Kathy says from her art studio in Phoenix, Arizona. "I just had no idea it would be such a hit right after the first episode! Within a week I had dozens of emails from crafty people who were thrilled."
When Kathy's next book, "Crafty Chica's Art de la Soul: Glittery Ideas to Liven Up Your Life" (Rayo Books) is released February 1st, she will use the Crafty Chica Podcast as a companion piece.
