Dr. Raj Jain, keynote speaker at the OpticsEast 2005, plans to highlight new revenue generating service trends during his discussion about network deployment planners and network designers.

Dr. Jain will keynote Session 11: PON-based Broadband Access Networks: Architectures and Systems, Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 2:10pm. In remarks prepared for the occasion, Dr. Jain discusses with network deployment planners and network designers how recent trends in Passive Optical Networks (PON) are creating new market opportunities via new services. “Higher performing broadband access solutions, including Nayna’s Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) and Fiber-To-The-Small Business (FTTSB) configurations, are able to deliver streaming video content over TCP/IP and Ethernet.”
