DomainCentral.com Slashes .au Domain Prices Again

Business owners can now register or renew com.au and net.au domain names for just $38.

(PRWEB) October 26, 2005 -- DomainCentral.com, an auDA accredited registrar has crashed through the AUD $40 barrier and is selling com.au and net.au domains at just $38/2-years.

The combined number of .com.au and .net.au domains reached 550,000 in September, 2005. Reaching this milestone also signified the 3rd Registry price drop which equates to a five-dollar price reduction off the AusRegistry wholesale fee for a .com.au and .net.au.

"This is not a promotion! True to our goals, we aim to increase the Internet's accessibility for all businesses trading in Australia,” emphasizes George Pongas, Chief Operating Officer of Domain Central. “We were the first to break through the $50 barrier at $49/2-years, and are now the first to break through the $40 retail price point too", added Pongas.

Nothing upsets the team at Domain Central more than seeing businesses promoting their ISP’s domain instead of their own brand, and they’re determined to end this practice for good.

“It amazes me to see ad campaigns worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars that feature generic email addresses”, states Andrew Steven - Domain Central's Marketing Manager. “A domain is now an essential business communication tool, and at $19 a year, less than 6-cents a day, there is no excuse not to have one."
