(PRWEB) October 28, 2005 -- A new service collating live poker information in 7 countries is due to release their first update on November 1st. Subscribers to WannaPlayPoker.net receive news on local tournaments, card rooms, home games and other players in their area via a free monthly e-mail service.

The system works by hoovering up news of live games across the English-speaking world and categorising them by geographic location. This information is then collated on a monthly basis to create a personal poker schedule for every registered player.

“Gone are the days when you had to know someone who knows someone to get a game of poker!” says Richard Speigal of WannaPlayPoker.net. “Our service offers free publicity for anyone running a game, amateur or pro – and pushes the information to the right players in the right place. Essentially we put players together, via the web.”

Tournament and game hosts are encouraged to get listed, as is any player who wants local poker news direct to their e-mail inbox. The service is entirely free and also private – players are not required to give any personal details to use the site.
