Ocean Magazine Has Announced That Its Premier Issue Will Be Available on Newsstands December 1, 2005

Ocean Magazine, the Orange County Coast’s premier women’s lifestyle publication, will be on newsstands December 2005.

(PRWEB) November 1, 2005 -- Ocean magazine, Orange County’s only women’s lifestyle publication, has announced that its premier issue will hit newsstands in December 2005.

The OC’s leading source for young women's fashion, health, travel, beauty and lifestyle, Ocean will now be available for single-copy sales at magazine retailers across Orange County, including Borders, Barnes & Noble, Tower Records and Walden Books.

“The response for the magazine has been extremely positive,” says Amy Kearney, the magazine’s advertising and marketing director. “With over 200 requests for paid subscriptions from the magazine’s Web site alone, going straight to newsstands will, in addition to broadening the magazine’s readership, provide greater exposure for our advertisers.”

Ocean will implement a multichannel distribution to maximize the magazine’s audience, combining direct mail and paid subscriptions with single-copy sales and a controlled commercial distribution.

Ocean magazine, published by Shoreline Publications, Inc., was founded by young entrepreneurs and sisters Molly Chizzick of Corona Del Mar and Amy Kearney of Laguna Beach.
