The Greater Pacific War Project Coming Summer of 2006 The Greater Pacific War Project, told through historical miniature war gaming will advance the art of historical war gaming, teach the history of the Greater Pacific War and provide an exciting event for war game enthusiats. Nashville, Tn (PRWEB) October 31, 2005 -- Historical miniature war gaming is a hobby that attempts to depict battle scenarios under realistic parameters. Planned for the summer of 2006 at Historicon, The Greater Pacific War Project will tell the history of the Greater Pacific War of 1931-1945. It will feature several war games of top quality depiced in nimiature with realistic terrain, rules and award winning umpires.
The purpose of this project is to advance the art of historical war gaming, teach the history of the Greater Pacific War and provide an exciting event for war game enthusiats.

Principles involved are Project Director, Peter Mancini, USA, an award winning miniature umpire, Terrain Advisor, Martin Baber, Wales, UK, recognied world wide for his terrain work on Operation Market Garden Mega Game: A Bridge Too Far, Rules Advisor, Sam Scott USA, recognied for his work on the rules for Operation Market Garden, A Bridge Too Far. Peter English, USA, award winning umpire. All three are recipients of the HMGS-East Battle Star intended to recognize service and achievement exemplifying the highest qualities of Historial Miniature Gaming. Baxter Key of Figures, Armor and Artillery, USA, LLC based in Nashville is a primary supporter and will lead an advisory role on models and the industry.
