San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 16, 2005 -- Honey, did you forget to feed the fish?

Last Day of Work is introducing “Fish Tycoon for Windows,” a PC game that simulates the real world of caring for exotic fish by requiring users to feed, nurture and monitor the virtual fish.

“Fish Tycoon for Windows” is unique among real-time games, in that the fish will continue to prosper, multiple, or die, even if the game is off. The game can only be suspended if set on pause.

This latest release by Last Day of Work (LDW) is a PC version of its highly popular “Fish Tycoon,” which was previously only available on mobile devices, such as Palm and Pocket PC devices. The mobile version has won several awards, including the Parents’ Choice Recommended Award.

“Fish Tycoon is the perfect combination of simulation and puzzle games, giving gamers the reward of solving a genetic riddle, as well as the endless immersion of a virtual aquarium.” said Arthur Humphrey, LDW’s chief executive. “Additionally, the real-time persistent world feature of the game makes it very addictive. Players always want to return to see what has changed since they last played.”

Fish Tycoon is set on the fictitious island of Isola, where the loss of seven magic fish has broken the ecosystem. Until the players find the magic fish and solve their genetic puzzle, they must nurture and breed exotic fish as a means to finance research on the mystical fish. Players sell the exotic fish in their virtual store and also use the proceeds to buy supplies, such as medication or eggs, to assist in the care of the fish.

A free trial version of Fish Tycoon is available for download and the full version of the game can be purchased for $19.95. For more information, please visit www.ldw.com/ft_win
