Ant Music Creates the Soundtrack for 'Gangland Graveyard' PBS Documentary for Optomen Productions

The Sopranos meets Six Feet Under, but this time, the stories are real. Real life mafia documentary, following the discovery of bodies in a Queens lot, resulting in trouble for the mob, Gangland Graveyard debuts nationally on PBS’ SECRETS OF THE DEAD series on Wed Nov 16th 2005 at 8pm and Channel 4 (UK) next year with Ant Music at the musical helm.

(PRWEB) November 16, 2005 -- Ant Music -- one of New York’s premier music houses has just completed work on writing, scoring, recording and producing all the music for 1 hour documentary produced by Optomen Productions US for Thirteen/WNET New York for the Secrets of the Dead series. Entitled “Gangland Graveyard”, the documentary will air nationally on PBS in the US and on Channel 4 in the UK. The program is being distributed internationally by Channel 4 International.

Following the discovery of 100 pieces of human remains in a vacant lot in Queens by FBI agents would confirm the nickname “Mafiaville” already whispered throughout the neighborhood and finally, after 23 years, reveal the gruesome details of a ruthless triple murder. A plot that would mark the stunning rise and fall of the man known as “The Last Don”.

Produced by Ant Music producer/composer Tom Lown, composer/arranger Stefano Switala and Creative Director – Anthony Vanger, the music really reflects the feel of this gritty, real life mob story.
