SAMSA Cabling Project Comes to a Completion for Medical Care Facility

SAMSA of Saginaw, Michigan is currently finishing up a yearlong cabling project for Isabella Medical Care Facility, a long term care facility located in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.

(PRWEB) November 4, 2005 -- SAMSA of Saginaw, Michigan has recently completed a year-long cabling project for Isabella County Medical Care Facility, a long term care facility located in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. The facility project involved a three-story addition and three-floor renovation. The three-phase project has come to a completion after a one and a half year course. Phase one of the project consisted of the new additions and related cabling work required for occupancy set up. Along with a new nurse’s station, fifty-one new resident rooms were constructed. Each floor also gained a modern style day-use/kitchen area. Renovation of fifty existing resident rooms on the second and third stories was completed during phase two. During its final phase, administration offices on the first floor were remodeled. SAMSA provided all cabling work for phone, data, and cable television drops in resident rooms that consisted of 71,000 feet of network and phone cable, 6,000 feet of television cable, and 1,000 feet of fiber cable. All together, SAMSA created 525 network/phone locations throughout the facility. Shawn Ashley, SAMSA’s Technical Services Manager, states “It’s exciting after a year and a half to see the cabling we provided completed and being used to make Isabella County Medical Care Facility a technological, state of the art facility. The overall result of the project provides a nice place for the residents to live.”
