Corrugated Solution, LLC has been selected by Isabel Bloom, LLC as the exclusive packaging material supplier for its exclusive Garden Line of poured cement sculptures.

(PRWEB) November 4, 2005 -- Corrugated Solution, LLC, a licensed Midwest manufacturer and distributor of Corru-Fill packing materials has been selected by Isabel Bloom, LLC as the exclusive packaging material supplier for its exclusive Garden Line of poured cement sculptures. Isabel Bloom, LLC makes large cement statues of angels, saints, children, flowers and other garden decorations which it ships to garden centers across the country year round.

Inventory and Logistics Manager Dougal Nelson stated that in field tests Corru-Fill® saved Isabel Bloom 34% of labor costs when compared with their previous packing material.

"Corru-Fill® is tough enough to stand up to the weight without crushing or shifting. In addition it offers our company an opportunity to support a local Iowa business start-up while demonstrating its environmentally friendly policies. We predict a bright future for this product, based on our extensive trials," Nelson said.

Isabel Bloom, LLC is looking into substituting Corru-Fill for some of its smaller items which currently get shipped in foam-in-place. With the price of petroleum packaging materials rising, foam-in-place prices are climbing. Where Isabel Bloom can substitute Corru-Fill®, they plan to do so.

The company collects ‘nearly new’ boxes from all over the Des Moines metro area and processes them into Corru-Fill®, a stand-alone packing material with a unique design that lattices together to keep items suspended in the center of a box or crate, with no shifting or movement, surrounded by interlocking cushioned cardboard. In its first year Corrugated Solutions obtained a Solid Waste Alternative Program (SWAP) Grant from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and diverted some 71,000 lbs of corrugated cardboard that would have ended up in the landfill.
