New Hampshire Radio Show Welcomes SyFy Portal as a Regular Guest

Michael Hinman, founder of SyFy Portal, will become a regular monthly guest for New Hampshire's top genre radio show.

(PRWEB) November 8, 2005 -- New Hampshire radio show adds monthly SyFy Portal segment.

Sci-Fi Saturday Night, New Hampshire's most popular genre radio show, is adding a little SyFy once a month. SyFy Portal, that is.

In a new segment set to premiere Nov. 19, SyFy Portal (www.syfyportal.com) founder and news coordinator Michael Hinman will join The Dome, Mr. K and the rest of the team on Sci-Fi Saturday Night (http://wgiram.com/scifi.html). The show, which runs Saturdays from 6 to 9 p.m. ET, can be heard on three radio stations in New Hampshire, including 610 WGIR-AM in Manchester, 930 WGIN-AM in Portsmouth, and 1530 WGIP-AM in Exeter.

"I'm very excited to be a regular part of this great show," said Hinman, who runs the site out of Tampa, Fla. "I've had the honor of being on the show a couple of times in the past, and even though I can't physically be there in studio, I have had a blast. It's a great show, and you can't help but continue to tune in each week to hear what Mr. K and The Dome are talking about, or what great guests they have on the air."

"Sci-Fi Saturday Night is proud to announce that Michael Hinman from SyFy Portal, one of the leading science-fiction Web sites, will be joining our program," said The Dome. "Michael has been on our show many times and now joins us on a regular basis, having a monthly report and also breaking news from the world of sci-fi movies and television."

Hinman has been invited on several radio shows over the years, including the former Radio Sci-Fi in Orlando that aired on Cox radio, the syndicated Radio Sci-Fi Zone that is based in Orlando through ClearChannel, as well as the Tommy Boyd show on England's BBC. Hinman is known to bring a lot of rumors, some actual news, and what he likes to refer to as "humor." Sci-Fi Saturday Night airs on ClearChannel stations.
