Jackson Hardware Releases Lennon Tribute

Jackson Hardware's Villain (in Dakota Town)" Now Available for Download.

Cleveland, Oh - December 13, 2001 - On the heals of rock legend John Lennons 21st anniversary of his death, rock band Jackson Hardware released their original tribute tune to the music hero titled Villain (in Dakota Town)". The cut is featured on their 2001 CD Always Tuesday" and now the full-length mp3 version is available for download from their website www.jacksonhardware.com.

I wrote Villain back in 1980 shortly after John Lennons death but never released it," explains Larry Insana, Jackson Hardwares lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter, Every year about this time I think about Johns impact on the world and finally have had the chance to release the tune. I hope more folks get to hear it by making it available as a free download."

Jackson Hardwares Always Tuesday"

Jackson Hardware hails from the home of the world famous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, the five piece band have honed their own unique style from years of rock influence on the Cleveland rock scene. As previous Cleveland Battle of The Band winner, the core members music has been described as a mix of Matchbox 20 meeting Neil Young. Their hook is a blend of acoustic guitars with a lead guitar centerpiece that takes the music into overdrive.

On their first release, Always Tuesday, the band delivers 12 original tunes that take you through a journey of growing-up in the Rock & Roll capital with the fiber of styles that only the once steel town could provide. Lead vocalist and guitarist Larry Insana picked 12 of his favorites from his compilation of over 500 original tunes.
