
AFEI Announces Winners of its 2009 Excellence in Enterprise Integration Awards The Association for Enterprise Information (AFEI) is proud to announce the winners of the 2009 Excellence in Enterprise Integration Awards. For the first time two government programs were tied for the top award. The Government Award went to the Project Manager for DoD Biometrics for the Automated Biometric Identification System, and to the Warrior Preparation Center, HQ USAFE, for the Live Virtual Constructive Joint Terminal Attack Controllers Training Program. The top Industry Award went to Right Hemisphere of Pleasanton, California for their Aircraft Computer-Aided Design Integration Information project. Arlington, VA (Vocus) October 22, 2009 – The Association for Enterprise Information (AFEI) is proud to announce the winners of the 2009 Excellence in Enterprise Integration Awards. For the first time two government programs were tied for the top award. The selected organizations demonstrated, in the opinion of the judges, the best applications of technology and leadership to improve enterprise performance. Innovative approaches, quantifiable metrics, long-term strategic effect and measureable accomplishments are all clear attributes of the winning nominations. Ms. Jo Manson, Manager of Strategic Communications for the US Army Program Manager for Transportation Information Systems, was one of this year’s judges and is a past award winner. “The Excellence in Enterprise Integration awards program is a great competition. Being a judge raised my level of awareness about the quality of the overall award nominations and the commitment by Industry and Government to bring innovative problem solving and emerging technologies to the forefront of their program’s solutions” said Ms Manson. “AFEI is extremely proud of this awards program” said David Chesebrough, President of the association. “This year we received 41 nominations. Reading through them, you get a good sense of the outstanding work being done in Government and industry.
