Deflexion - the unique laser board game is now available in specialty toy stores across Canada

Deflexion is a chess-style board game played with lasers! Make your move and fire your laser to eliminate your competitor's game piece.

Waterloo, ON (PRWEB) November 14, 2005 -- Deflexion, the game that combines lasers with classic strategy is now available in Canada from Stortz & Associates Inc.

Deflexion, the game that combines lasers with classic chess-style strategy on a board for an experience enjoyed by players ages 9-99. Players alternate turns moving Egyptian-themed mirrored pieces around the board. Upon finishing their move the player fires their (low powered) laser with the goal of illuminating one of their opponent's pieces. If hit, the piece is eliminated from the board. Play continues until finally the laser hits one of the Pharoah pieces!

Deflexion was developed by Tulane University Professor Michael Larson, associate professor of mechanical engineering and two of his graduate students, Luke Hooper and Del Segura.
