Art of Hilario Now At Larsen Gallery Artist Hilario Gutierrez now at Larsen Gallery in Scottsdale. (PRWEB) November 13, 2005 -- Arizona artist, Hilario Gutierrez, is now exhibiting his work at Larsen Gallery in Scottsdale.
Larsen Gallery, also known as the Cultural Exchange, has been a fixture in the Scottsdale gallery scene for more than 15 years. Owners Scott and Polly Larsen are excited about showcasing Hilario’s unique contemporary abstracts. “As gallery owners who have been watching the career of this talented artist, we are so pleased to now finally be able to represent the artwork of Hilario Gutierrez at the Larsen Gallery”, says Polly Larsen.
Hilario’s work sets a new direction for Arizona art. Instead of images of cactus and cowboys, his paintings use only color and texture to capture the emotion and spirit of this vast place; from its stark deserts to its pine-covered high country and the windswept plateaus in between. For Hilario, his paintings are the end result of a process that allows him to fully explore his private, personal attachment to his native state. For the lucky few who own his work, his paintings allow them to continually experience the unique ethereal existence that is Arizona.
Hilario’s works continues to be available at Ogilvie/Pertl Gallery in Chicago.
