Train Chartering Provides a Train Carriage for ITV's Ultimate Force

ITV uses a Train Chartering carriage for realism in an episode of ITV’s Ultimate Force.

(PRWEB) November 16, 2005 -- ITV uses a Train Chartering carriage for realism in an episode of ITV’s Ultimate Force. Train Chartering moved the 50-ton carriage on a specialist transporter to a non-railway location.

The production company, Bentley Productions Ltd, required realistic footage in a modern carriage. The cast of actors and extras, as well as a sizeable crew, were both based at a location west of London without railway lines. Therefore for operational reasons, they needed to have the carriage brought to the site rather than move cast and crew to a railway line.

Train Chartering arranged for the movement of the 50-ton, 20-metre carriage on a specialist transporter from its depot to the location.

This was a valuable service for the location managers and producers.
