Barnstone Gallery Highlights National Artists in Newly Launched Web Site

Barnstone Gallery has launched www.barnstonegallery.com, featuring information about the gallery offering and events, interior space, and history. The site also includes a comprehensive “meet the artists” section with artists’ viewpoints on their work, the creative process, and sharing art.

Phoenixville, PA (PRWEB) November 14, 2005 -- Barnstone Gallery, southeastern Pennsylvania’s newest art gallery featuring original contemporary American art, has launched its web site, featuring information about the gallery and its artists. The website can be found at www.barnstonegallery.com.

The inspiration for the site was to design a functional and aesthetic environment that would give web visitors a sense of the gallery experience and offering, along with news and upcoming events such as First Friday and other gallery openings.

In keeping with the gallery director’s philosophy of creating a space where art is accessible to everyone, the web site includes a comprehensive section devoted to the viewpoints of the artists whose work is for sale at Barnstone. Selected artist’s perspectives are featured through interview-style content that highlights their unique creative approaches. Quotes from various artists are showcased throughout the site.

A virtual “gallery tour” walks visitors through the various gallery spaces and showcases the art for sale. Visitors to the site can also learn more about the historic gallery space, and access general information about the operation of the gallery, including the gallery director’s contact information, along with hours and driving directions.

The web site was created by Chapter 24 Marketing Communications in Chester Springs, PA.

Barnstone Gallery is located in the upper levels of an historic Chester County barn, and offers contemporary painting, craft, and jewelry from more than 35 nationally-acclaimed artists. With five large exhibit spaces, Barnstone is one of the largest galleries in the region devoted exclusively to contemporary American fine art. In addition to painting and sculpture, Barnstone sells a full complement of original creative arts, including glass, ceramics, and jewelry. Barnstone is the fulfillment of gallery director Lynn Detwiler’s lifelong dream to present fine art in a friendly, down-to-earth setting.

The gallery is open Tuesday 10 to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Friday 10 to 6 p.m., and Saturday 12 to 4 p.m.
