7th International Wildlife Law Conference

The 7th International Wildlife Law Conference will take place at the Washington College of Law at American University on March 30, 2002. The theme of the conference is: "The Convention on Biological Diversity: A Ten Year Report Card."

The 7th International Wildlife Law Conference will take place at the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, DC on March 30, 2002. The theme of the conference is: "The Convention on Biological Diversity: A Ten Year Report Card." The conference will focus on the effectiveness of the Convention on Biological Diversity in conserving endangered flora and fauna species and mechanisms to improve its efficacy in the future. Conference speakers will be drawn from the governmental, academic and non-governmental sectors.

The conference, which is sponsored by the American Society of International Law's Wildlife Interest Group, will bring together 200 attendees from the governmental, non-governmental and academic sectors to address the conference theme.
