UFOetry Recieves Music Video of the Year Award for Song "We Never Went to the Moon" "We Never Went to The Moon," directed by John Lee, has recieved the Award for Music Video of the Year by the 15th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards. (PRWEB) November 25, 2005 -- The Music Box Theater in Hollywood, California was the location of the 15th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards on November 9, 2005. Celebrities and independent musicians fill the theater in order to hear the announcements of this year's recipients. Awards were given for 13 categories, as well as 20 career achievement awards.
This year's award for "Music Video of the Year" went to UFOetry http://www.ufoetry.com for their controversial music video "We Never Went to the Moon". The music video, which was directed by John Lee http://www.piratenews.org, addresses the issue of the 1969 moon landing and whether or not it was a fake.
What do you think? It seems almost unbelievable to think such a thing could have occured but, a simple search on the internet will reveal a lot of controversial information on the subject. Last year the song "We Never Went To The Moon" was part of an award winning project, "Music & Poetry EP of the Year" John Lee heard the song and did a masterful job job of editing together the video and capturing the mood of the song.
I guess the only way to know what you think is to watch the video...if you dare! Then decide for yourself what you actually do think about this issue. One thing for sure. The video will certainly get you thinking, and in this day and age...thinking for ourselves is definately a good thing!
