Author Rewrites Eight Century BCE Middle Eastern History:The Bible and History Textbooks are Wrong

Describing Academic vision as too narrow, and accusing historians of failing to go outside their academic boxes, BenDedek, in rewriting selected historical passages, demonstrates that three successive kings of Judah (Israel) are misidentified in the Bible, because their names all look too alike in Hebrew.

He states that the chronological data demonstrates that the Bible is in error in its' references to 'Jotham, (Jehoahaz) Ahaz (Ahaziah) and Hezekiah', three successive Judaean kings who reigned between 742 and 687 BCE.

Maintaining that paucity of Assyrian records has forced Academics to rely on Bible stories, BenDedek states that in doing so, they have compounded the problem.

Whilst neither Academics nor religious believers will be pleased with his re-writing of the Bible, BenDedek maintains that his apologetics are both logical and demonstrably effective.
