We are finishing some scenes with Johnny Alonso, Irv Becker and Karen Berris we are also in discussion with a national recording artist to do one of the tracks on the Sound Track for "The Last Mango." The producer Mara Link, is in the process of working with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC), one of our charities we support, in our efforts to raise public awareness for Ovarian Cancer.

We will be contributing a portion of our ticket sales to this worthy cause to educate the public and help support their efforts for early detection and ultimately a cure. With everyone's support we can make a difference.

"Ovarian Cancer is the deadliest of the gynecologic cancers. The majority of new cases detected are in the advanced stages, and as a result, barely 50% survive 5 years. About 1 in every 57 women in the United States will develop Ovarian Cancer.

The symptoms for Ovarian Cancer are hard to detect; there is no early detection test and symptoms are easily confused with other illnesses.

Whom could you afford to lose? Ovarian Cancer doesn't discriminate, it kills. Help the organizations who are on the forefront of this fight by taking action and donating funds so they may continue their success." http://www.networkforgood.org/

MPM Productions also would also like to thank Anthony Fayhe the owner of the restaurant The Last Mango which gave the inspiration for our film. A special thanks to Jim Tull, who helped coordinate shoot dates, acted in our film, and currently lending his fundraising experience.
