DaySpring School of the Arts Celebrated Individual and Corporate Contributions to Arts and Education in St. Louis at the DaySpring Gala and Excellence Awards Ceremony

DaySpring School of the Arts sponsored a Fall Gala and Excellence Awards Ceremony on November 16, 2005 at the Maryland Heights Community Center. The 2005 DaySpring Excellence Awards were presented to the following individuals for contributions to the arts and education community in St. Louis: Colin Graham, Kurt and Brenda Warner, David Slan, Judy Barnett, Mark Andrews, Sugar Smith, Edward Jones Corporation. This event featured performances from John Kasica (St. Louis Symphony), Paula Kasica (Windfire), DaySpring Music Faculty members, professional musical theater performers and the DaySpring Ballet Conservatory Dancers.

The 2005 DaySpring Excellence Awards were presented to the following individuals for contributions to the arts and education community in St. Louis:

•    David Slan- Steinway Piano Gallery

•    Lucinda Gyurci- Arts for Life

•    Judy Barnett- Maryland Heights City Council

•    Mark Andrews- The Pillar Foundation

•    Sugar Smith- Pattonville High School

•    Edward Jones Corporation

This event featured performances from John Kasica (St. Louis Symphony), Paula Kasica (Windfire), DaySpring Music Faculty members, professional musical theater performers and the DaySpring Ballet Conservatory Dancers. Catering was provided by Joe Boccardis. Madeleine’s Garden served as the florist for the event. Anthony Stewart was the photographer and videographer for the event. Guests enjoyed an evening of classical music, ballet, musical theater, and celebration of significant contributions to arts and education.
