You Can Still Gain Control of That Problem Child of Yours But Your Child Isn't the Problem, You Are Maurice Arthur has released a website related to his upcoming book, A Black Man Thinking - Volume One, Raising Children. (PRWEB) December 11, 2005 -- You can still take control of that problem child of yours. But your child is not the problem, you are the problem. Your child probably has a parent that doesn't know what to do to effectively raise a child.
Pregnancy rates of young single girls are at epidemic proportions. Children raised in single family homes are more likely to be raised in a low income home, commit a crime, drop out of high school and to have a child out of wedlock. There is nothing wrong with most of these children that their parents didn't create.
As a parent, it is your responsibility to raise your child to the best of your ability. Many parents today leave the raising of their children to relatives and anyone else. When no one is around to raise the child, the television and other media steps right in to fill the void.
It's not too late to take control of your children, but time is running out. The most critical time in your child's life is between birth and 5 years old and the sooner you get started, the better.
In his new book, A Black Man Thinking (ABMT) - Volume One, Raising Children, Mr. Arthur provides basic insights to parenting, particularly but not solely for black parents. ABMT takes a look at the difficulties in raising children today and provides concise steps so you can make a difference in a child's life.
The father of two children and married for 19 years, Mr. Arthur's message stresses responsibility and accountability coupled with unique storytelling and humor.
