Walter Murch to Appear at FCP Event at Macworld

Academy Award winning film editor and sound designer, Walter Murch will be the featured guest at the annual FCPUG event to be held at the Mezzanine Club in San Francisco, Jan 11, 2006 as part of the Macworld festivities.

(PRWEB) December 19, 2005 -- The Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group, (lafcpug) along with leaders from the San Francisco, Boston, Chicago and other FCP User Groups will unite at the Mezzanine Club in San Francisco Ca. as part of the Macworld Expo festivities, Wednesday, Jan 11, beginning at 7:00PM.

On the agenda will be Academy Award winning film editor and sound designer, Walter Murch who will talk about his experiences with Final Cut Pro on the recent film Jarhead and take questions from the audience

Also scheduled to appear will be Apple’s Phil Jackson and Alec Little who will show off and talk about Soundtrack Pro.

Panasonic will show footage and talk about the brand new camcorder, the HVX200

A raffle with prizes totaling into the thousands of dollars will wrap up the evening.

Tickets are on sale now for $15.00 each and this event is expected to sell out quickly. Doors will open at 6:00PM and seating will be first come, first served.
