'National Ride for Charity Weekend Hoping to Draw Thousands of Bikers to the Roads Raising Money for Thousands of Local Charities All Over the U.S.

Cris Jackman, owner of Crazy Crissy’s Biker T-Shirts (one of millions of Café Press shops), thinks big. She sees thousands of rallies being held in small towns and large cities in every state in the United States, raising millions of dollars for charities nationwide. She’s rallying bikers across the nation and contacting sponsors to make it a reality this June. She’s calling it the National Ride for Charity Weekend.

(PRWEB) December 17, 2005 -- Imagine the biggest motorcycle rally to ever take place in the United States, raising millions of dollars for charities across the country. That’s what Cris Jackman, owner of Crazy Crissy’s Biker T-Shirts a small online business powered by Café Press, sees and she’s rallying bikers and motorcycles enthusiasts to make it happen.

She’s planning and organizing the first rally to be held on the second weekend of June 2007. Cris is working with bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts as well as motorcycle organizations, retailers and corporations to make the “National Ride for Charity Weekend” an annual event.

She sees participants in every state, small and large cities and towns raising money for charities in their local communities. It’s a nationwide rally, taking place all over the United States, coast to coast, border to border, over one weekend a year.

The idea was born when Cris was working on promotions for Crazy Crissy’s Biker T-Shirts on Dec. 13, 2005. She started working on a plan right away and talking to friends. The feedback was positive and the campaign began and continues with daily emails and phone calls.

Cris is from Yucca Valley, CA, a small high desert town just north of Palm Springs. She is the mother of two and the grandmother of ten.

A former news segment producer and freelance specials producer, she was forced into early retirement by Bipolar Disorder in 2000. She doesn’t let that stop her from living or slow her down. Bipolar disorder has taught her to enjoy life to its fullest and to make the most of every minute.
