(PRWEB) December 26, 2005 -- Haute Living Magazine’s “Roundtable Discussion and Real Estate Market Outlook for 2006,” sponsored by Blue Star Jets and Dom Perignon, was a smashing success. Held on December 15, it was the city’s premier roundtable event, featuring the most powerful panel to date. New York’s most prominent real estate principals in the multi-million dollar commercial and residential market offered attendees diverse commentary of the highly anticipated 2006.

“With all the bubble talk everyday, it was very interesting that our whole panel was very bullish on the Real Estate Market for 2006,” comments Publisher Kamal Hotchandani. “We are very excited to be able to share this to our readers, that most of the panelists are looking for another solid year in Luxury Real Estate Market,” comments Publisher Seth Semilof. “Unlike most publications, there was not any bubble talk within this panel, which tells me we should look for another solid year.”

The triumphant power talk featured Braden Keil of The New York Post, Amir Korangy of The Real Deal and Peter Slatin of The Forbes/Slatin Real Estate Report as its key moderators, who drilled the panelists with exhilarating questions about the ins-and-outs of Manhattan’s luxury real estate market, prompted comparisons between Florida and New York’s luxury markets, and urged predictions on the real estate market outlook for 2006.

“I still see a very, very healthy appetite for acquisitions,” says Diane Ramirez, Halstead Properties. “We can be specific to two of the most recent properties that are on the market—170 E. End Ave. and 15 Central Park West, where the developers pay the highest price per square foot. And from what I understand, all projects are selling and that there is still a demand for high-priced apartments.”

With a star-studded panel including Richard Cantor of Cantor and Pecorella, Susan de Franca of Related Residential Sales, Dorothy Herman of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, James Lansill of The Sunshine Group, Gary Malin of Citi-Habitats, Frederick Peters of Warburg Realty Partnership, Diane Ramirez of Halstead Property and Elizabeth Stribling of Stribling & Associates, the event was primed for success.

“I think this is probably the first time that you have multiple generations all buying at the same time,” notes Dottie Herman, Prudential Douglas Elliman. “And that’s all in one market.”

“New York’s a destination market; the cultural capital of the world,” adds Susan de Franca, Related Residential Sales. “And I really feel, because we are on stable footing right now, that we are primed to have great levels of absorption and that many of these new properties are going to be absorbed. I see a very strong market.

The elite gathering was followed by an exquisite array of delicacies coupled with the finest wines and champagnes—courtesy of Dom Perignon and Haute Living. The Roundtable Discussion and Real Estate Market Outlook for 2006 brought the highly acclaimed South Florida-based Haute Living to the forefront of the luxury real estate market in Manhattan.
