Controversial Author Claudette Milner Speaks Candidly with Kevin Dawson, Host of A Story to Tell on Global Talk Radio Controversial author Claudette Milner discusses her book Children of Plains Estates and why she will tackle the Holocaust and child molestation in the Catholic Church in the upcoming sequel. (PRWEB) January 1, 2006 -- Controversial author Claudette Milner discusses her book Children of Plains Estates with Kevin Dawson, host of A Story to Tell on Global Talk Radio.
"Children of Plains Estates" is a book of inclusiveness. It crosses racial and economic lines of division. Its goal is to bring light to the struggles and victories of children. The goal of the author is to break down the barriers that separate us by forcing the reader to confront their own stereotypes and bigotries. AIDS, racism, child molestation, drugs, alcoholism, domestic violence, are not issues that happen to other people. They are issues that affect all of us. The purpose of this book is to begin the dialogue in order to confront the issues.
No other novel has its pulse on the heartbeat of America.
Betsy's Literary Page wrote: "Claudette Milner's novel, Children of Plains Estates is the perfect definition for the melting pot called 'America.'"
In a one on one interview with Kevin Dawson of Global Talk Radio Milner reveals her upcoming storylines in the sequel to her first book Children of Plains Estates.
"It is my prayer not only to teach the facts of the Holocaust but to examine the big picture. When we discuss the Holocaust we think of the genocide of Jews. In order to fully understand the horror of the Holocaust we must understand that Hitler's hatred was not limited to the Jewish community but included Jehovah Witness', Serbs, Romanians, Gypies, homosexuals, communist, individuals of African-German heritage, the elderly, handicapped, mentally ill, and Russian prisoners of war. The Holocaust is a depiction of how one man's self hatred created an army that would kill over 7 million people."
The introduction of a Hispanic family of Cuban American descent will follow two different storylines. First it will open the dialogue for us to begin to discuss our stereotypes and bigotries concerning Mexicans and Cubans.
The pedophilia storyline will follow a man and his families struggle to reclaim their faith in God after the ultimate betrayal of the Catholic church.
