Mark C. Lowrey turned his first laps and earned his superspeedway license at Daytona International Speedway which makes him eligible to run in ARCA 200 held there on February 11, 2006.

“This test was the next step in what we’ve been trying to accomplish” said Lowrey, who is looking to run a limited schedule with ARCA in 2006. “I was able to adjust to the car very quickly, and get some good hot laps under my belt.”

Lowrey, who captured Rookie of the Year in 2003 with the AllStar Racetrucks Series and is an instructor at the Buck Baker Racing School, is excited about the 2006 season. “I’ve logged a lot of laps over the past couple of seasons, and I’m looking forward to taking on a new challenge with ARCA.”

In addition to running with the ARCA Re/MAX

Series, Lowrey will also try to fit in a few races with the Parker Racing Team in 2006. According to Lowrey, “going back to the track with the original gang is always a good time, and I’m looking forward to having some fun in our AllStar Racetruck.”, he said.

Mark C. Lowrey’s 2006 schedule will be finalized early next year.
