
Firearms Engravers & Gunmakers Exhibition Set for Jan. 22-24 -- Gathering in Reno Showcases America's Top Artisans Nearly 100 artisans from across America will come together Jan. 22-24 at John Ascuaga's Nugget for an event that has come to be known as "The Greatest Assembly of Custom Guns and Engraving in America." The exhibition is an opportunity "to see truly fine quality firearms and meet America's best custom gunmakers and firearm engravers," organizers said. Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) January 8, 2010 The Firearms Engravers & Gunmakers Exhibition, which takes place Jan. 22-24 at John Ascuaga's Nugget in Reno, NV, will showcase the talents of America's top custom stockmakers, metalsmiths, engravers and other specialists. The annual event is a joint effort of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild (http://www.ACGG.org) and the Firearms Engravers Guild of America (http://www.FEGA.com) . Select members of American Bladesmith Society, the Contemporary Longrifle Association and the Knifemakers Guild will also be featured. "Each year the quality and artistic expression of projects displayed have surpassed the previous and astounded the makers," organizers said. The exhibition opens Friday, Jan. 22, at noon. The opening day session closes at 9 p.m. Hours for Saturday, Jan. 23, and Sunday, Jan. 24, are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Entry price for the public is $20 per person per day. The Firearms Engravers & Gunmakers Exhibition has been an ongoing annual event since 1985 as a venue to showcase the work of members of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild and the Firearms Engravers Guild of America. Among ACGG's goals is "Promoting the artistry of fine custom firearms."
