Dallas, TX (PRWEB) January 6, 2006 – For Gameroom Designs owner Todd McClure the billiards industry has been a passionate pursuit for more than 25 years, and after a quarter century of providing high quality billiard and game room supplies and service to the south and central Texas retail markets, he has decided to close his second, and largest, retail store located in Bedford Texas, a Dallas suburb, and go into the wholesale distribution end of the business to promote his own unique brand known as “McClure Tables” (www.McClureTables.com) on an international level.

For almost the entire time he’s been in business McClure carried other high end name brands in his retail stores, but soon realized that those brands did not have any features or benefits that gave him any advantage, so he went to work designing his own brand that would have those types of features. Even as his final retail store enters the final stages, McClure and his team are setting the stage for the international release of his brand by creating a dealer network and booking trade show space to help in branding the name.

With deeply discounted prices on top name brands proudly on display, McClure’s Going Out of Business Sale began just over a month ago with nearly $1.5 Million in inventory. “We’ve reduced prices up to 60% off of retail and some items even at 70%, and we had so much inventory in the store that there is still a great selection to choose from”, McClure said. With plans to have everything in the showroom sold and the entire store empty by the end of January McClure said things have been going very well and the support has been excellent through the holiday season. So as the retailing end of the McClure era in billiards comes to a close, the name will become prevalent once again in the coming years, but on the wholesale distribution side with the highly anticipated McClure brand, custom pool table.
