After over 5 successful years in retail, popular Annapolis, Maryland gift store Before and After closed it’s brick and mortar store and moved online to http://www.BeachDecor.net. The new site features beach and nautical theme décor, drawer pulls and cabinet hardware, decorative hooks, lamps, rugs, pillows and other items.

“We did some online testing and found we were very well received,” said owner Brenda Burlbaugh. “We have a very wide selection of beach décor and other decorative items and I think the breadth of our catalog helps meet the needs of our many visitors.”

In addition to beach themed home decorating items, BeachDecor.net also features inspirational word stones and pocket tokens, Primal Elements soap and even unusual and hard to find items like ice cream parlor table and chair sets. As well, they specialize in a large variety of fun signs with themes including beach and nautical, inspirational and funny. They also have an artist on staff who will paint a custom sign that you design.

Owner Brenda Burlbaugh teamed with Amy Vansant Brunell, CEO of the Maryland-based web development firm Vansant Creations to launch the site, which accepts all major credit cards.

“Brenda’s store has been a popular fixture here in Annapolis,” said Ms. Brunell. “After ‘retiring’ from the 9-5 brick and mortar retail world, moving to ecommerce was a natural for her.”
