Baby Boomers, which are divided into two groups Younger (45-54) and Older (55-63), are using the Internet for many of the same reasons – email, researching products, getting news, using search engines, buying products online and getting health information. The report states that although younger Boomers are more likely to watch videos online (49 percent) than older Boomers (30 percent), the reverse is true about seeking health information – older Boomers (81 percent) compared to younger Boomers (74 percent).
