Hepieric, Inc. Names Craig Smith General Manager of its ProDX Business Unit

IT and technical staffing veteran will lead Hepieric’s largest unit; ProDX is the #10-ranked professional staffing firm in Oregon, and top-ranked for IT and software recruitment and placement

BEAVERTON, Ore. (PRWEB) January 9, 2006 -- Hepieric, Inc. announced that Craig Smith has been named General Manager of its ProDX Business Unit.

Smith, who joined ProDX in March 2004, moves into the role from his previous position as ProDX’s Recruiting Manager. Smith will oversee more than 100 consultants, account managers, recruiters and other personnel.

Prior to joining ProDX, Smith had more than a decade of experience in the IT and technical staffing industry, in a variety of roles. In 1993 he was a founding member of Impact Staffing, where he worked in sales, recruiting, and branch and area management roles, growing the operation to $7 million in annual revenues. In 1996, the business was acquired by national staffing provider SOS Staffing, and was later named Inteliant. As Inteliant Area Manager, Smith was responsible for the Portland, San Diego, and Vancouver operations. Later, in his capacity as Inteliant’s National Recruiting Director, he was responsible for the recruiting operations of the company’s $100 million IT segment.

Craig is one of a handful of recruiting professionals in the Northwest to have obtained AIRS (Advanced Internet Recruiting Strategies) certification.
