Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame Announces Class III Inductees

The Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame today announced its third Class of Hall of Famers, the members of Inductee Class III. The new class includes 15 individuals, a team and the Hall of Fame's first venue enshrinement.

The Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame today announced its third Class of Hall of Famers, the members of Inductee Class III. The new class includes 15 individuals, a team and the Hall of Fame's first venue enshrinement. These join the 41 current members of the Hall of Fame, those from the Charter Class of 2004 and last year's Inductee Class II.

The Palestra (Venue Enshrinement)

An all-sports hall of fame, the Philly Sports Hall inducts individuals from Philadelphia-area teams and those from the area who played or coached elsewhere.
