The Free College Textbook Marketplace, urShelf.com, Presents The $250 “Today I Won’t Have To Eat Ramen Noodles” Scholarship.

The Free College Textbook Marketplace, urShelf.com, has introduced a scholarship where all eligible members are automatically entered to win $250 to help offset the cost of buying textbooks. This is just one of the many ways that urShelf.com is rapidly expanding to become the number one source in helping students find a cheaper alternative to highly overpriced new textbooks.

Belleville, NJ January 12, 2006 – On January 1, 2006, one of the quickest growing College Textbook Marketplaces, urShelf.com, continues to expand its reach into the college marketplace by introducing a $250 scholarship comically known as the “Today I Won’t Have to Eat Ramen Noodles” Scholarship.

This scholarship will be awarded twice a year. On February 15 and then again on September 15, a member of urShelf.com will be chosen at random to receive a $250 scholarship payable to the recipient through their school of higher education. To be eligible to win, you must be registered as a member on urShelf.com and on the date of the drawing, you must have 3 or more textbooks listed for sale. It’s that simple.

Ryan Spadaccini, one of the founding members of Urshelf, LLC, states “We wanted to make the scholarship a fun and interesting contest. I can remember when I was in college, I would buy Ramen Noodles to conserve money for other expenses. I think most students can relate to the funny name of the Scholarship.”

For more information on the scholarship and how you can become a member of urShelf, check out the home page at www.urShelf.com.

UrShelf, LLC now has over 5,300 registered members at over 850 campuses nationwide and a total of 10,900 books have been listed on their website.
