Rapport International, a 20-year old foreign language services firm offering translation and interpretation, today announced that it has been awarded a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract by the General Services Administration (GSA) for United States Federal Government work.

Sudbury, Massachusetts, (PRWEB) January 12, 2006 -- Rapport International, a 20-year old full-service languages firm, today announced that it has been awarded a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract by the General Services Administration (GSA). Rapport’s Federal Supply Schedule contract number is GS-10F-0038S, and the contract period is five years with three five- year options. Under this GSA schedule, Rapport is approved to provide federal agencies with translation and interpretation services.

According to Wendy Pease, Rapport’s Executive Director, “We provide translation services for companies that print foreign language documents for the government. We decided to offer translation and interpretation directly to the decision makers in United States Federal Government. In addition, we understand that the federal government has increasing needs for language services and we’d like to make Rapport readily available to meet these needs.”

The United States Federal Government is one of the world’s largest procurers of translation and interpretation services. In dollar volume, the largest GSA schedule purchasers within the government are the Department of Defense, the Social Security Administration, the Department of Energy, and the Department of Justice.

Ms. Pease also stated that “After the intensive review of every aspect of Rapport’s business, being awarded a GSA contract is a testimony to the quality service that Rapport offers. Open Ratings conducted an independent satisfaction survey on Rapport as part of the qualification process. The survey rated Rapport 95 out of 100. This very high satisfaction rating will give assurance to government purchasing authorities on the kind of top quality language services Rapport offers.”
