Ethics Expert Continues Free Ethics Tip Program

A year ago, Dr. Christopher Bauer of Bauer Ethics Seminars wanted to help companies do a better job of ‘walking the talk’ of professional ethics by offering free weekly ethics tips by email. The idea was to offer his “Weekly Ethics Thought” for a year and then move on to other projects. That was before he discovered just how popular his ideas would prove to be.

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) January 13, 2006 -- Business ethics expert Dr. Christopher Bauer has decided to make his sometimes provocative and widely-read Weekly Ethics Thought an on-going column for his rapidly growing readership. “I never expected the response I got!”, says Dr. Bauer who orginally planned to provide his column for a year as a way to promote his latest book on how companies can improve corporate ethics. “The feedback, both domestically and from abroad, has been unbelievably great! I can’t help but keep writing these columns with the wonderful response they've gotten.”

As before, his plan is to provide a brief email each week, each with a single topic aimed at helping his readers think a little more or a little differently about professional ethics.

Dr. Bauer shares, “So many ethics problems can be easily avoided using very simple ideas and tools. These free weekly tips are designed to help individuals and companies learn those ideas and tools. Ultimately, the goal is for these little tips to help companies prevent ethics problems so that they don't need to clean up after them. After all, as with so many things in life, ethics problems are best dealt with in a preventive manner. Why wait until they have already occurred and you need to deal with all the legal, financial, and public relations nightmares that come along with them?“

Subscriptions to Dr. Bauer's Weekly Ethics Thought are available through his website (http://www.bauerethicsseminars.com).

Dr. Bauer’s latest book is “Better Ethics Now: How To Avoid The Ethics Disaster You Never Saw Coming” and his company (Bauer Ethics Seminars) works with companies that would rather prevent ethics problems than clean up after them.
