VoEx Elects Frank M. Fawzi as Chairman Former founder/CEO of CommTech bolsters strong management team. Grand Rapids, MI (PRWEB) January 23, 2006 -- VoEx Inc., a leading VoIP infrastructure enabler, announced today the election of Frank M. Fawzi as Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors. As Chairman, Mr. Fawzi’s focus will be on long-term strategic planning and financial structuring.
Previously, Fawzi, 43, founded CommTech Corporation, a leader in the communications software business, with over 350 employees serving top tier telecommunications companies. During the period from 1998 to 2001, the company’s cumulative annual growth rate exceeded 105%. In 1999, the company received a $15 million funding from Morgan Stanley Venture Partners. CommTech was sold to ADC Telecommunications (ADCT) for $178 million in 2001.

Prior to founding CommTech, Mr. Fawzi worked with AT&T Bell Laboratories, Sun Microsystems and the Associated Press. While at AT&T, he was lead data communications Architect on a $1.4 billion contact for the IRS.
Mr. Fawzi received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Computer Science and a Masters of Science in Management Information Systems from Steven Institute of Technology. He has participated in the Wharton Executive Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
