PDF Creation From ASCII Files Now is FREE from absolutePDF absolutePDF just released as Freeware its GUI tool absolutePDF-Spool Base which converts ASCII files to graphical PDF files without any additional tool. (PRWEB) January 24, 2006 -- absolutePDF just released version 1.1 of absolutePDF-Spool Base. The application is now Freeware and requires only a free registration on the website to get a valid activation key.
This GUI application is able to "print" the contents of an ASCII file to a graphical PDF file. The background PDF file may contain any graphical element (just like a pre-printed paper for dot-matrix printers) and can be prepared using any virtual PDF printer (like the export to PDF function of OpenOffice.org, a recommended option).
With this tools it's very easy to convert the output from a legacy application, which before printed ASCII text on a dot-matrix printer with pre-printed paper, to richly graphical PDF files.
Samples and online manuals are included, and a friendly support team is usually ready to answer all questions and help solve startup and subsequent implementation problems.
