Electronic Publishing Just Got Easier! EbookoMatic announces Free 10-Day Trial to help authors make decision to publish electronically. (Tulsa, OK - February 15, 2002) In an effort to help authors make the decision to publish electronically, EbookoMatic is literally giving their service away for free via a 10-Day Free Trial. Authors may publish, promote, distribute and sell their ebooks across EbookoMatic's growing network of retail ebook web sites.
"Taking the step to publish your work electronically is new ground for many authors. They do not entirely understand the benefits and differences when comparing traditional print publishing with ebooks. We've tried to make the education easy by offering a free handbook and a free trial membership. Folks can download the free ebook to learn more about our service, and then take our service for a test drive for 10 days to see just how easy and affordable electronic publishing can really be," says founder, Steven Schneiderman.
"EbookoMatic has managed to outlast many other e-publishers because of its unique business model. Whereas other e-publishers must manually convert print manuscripts into ebooks and then ecommerce enable them for sale on the Internet, EbookoMatic uses a completely different business model. The EbookoMatic system is fully automated enabling authors to publish and sell their ebooks across multiple web sites within a few minutes. When you are ready to make the move to electronic publishing, would you rather wait a few weeks for someone to set you up manually, or would you rather do it now?" adds Schneiderman.
The company began offering its services in January 2001 and has amassed nearly 200 authors and over 200 ebooks in its catalog. In addition, they have expanded their reach on the Internet by developing their own network of retail ebook sites including their newest additions: ScaryEbooks.com, EbookPoets.com, RomanticNovel.com, SpiritualEbooks.com and EbookTales.com. More genre-specific web sites are planned throughout the coming year.
Schneiderman says, "Anyone who has ever thought they had a story to tell needs to publish electronically. You may not get rich, but you'll gain tremendous satisfaction by doing so. Just knowing there are people out there reading and appreciating your work is reward enough for most authors. Of course, a few sales every now and then doesn't hurt either!"
