"People will be able to listen to a meteorologists explain what may or may not happen, view our forecasts and be able to ask questions in real-time."
According to Orr, this technology is not being used for hurricane forecasts. "We do not know of any other service like it," says Orr. "If someone wants to know what the National Hurricane Center is forecasting and what our team of forecasters is predicting, the information will be available at one place on the Internet."
Rapid Weather's meteorologist have experience forecasting hundreds of hurricanes and typhoons. "There is a lot of information available about these storms but the it does not seem to reach the public and businesses in a significant and timely way.
